Hikes, Stickers and Messes

Spring is on it's way and we have been busy keeping track of all of the new flowers popping up in the neighborhood. Today we went on a hike with an out of town friend and Finn was happy to run around and explore the woods (with stick in hand, of course!)

Finn is having a grand ol' time with some Valentine's stickers that grandma and pappy sent!

Blueberries are delicious and messy. Very, very messy.

Busy Little Man

Finn seems to have endless energy these days, and I seem to spend most of my day trying to tire him out so that I can have just a little bit of time to myself! Finn recently tried rollerskating for the first time, which was more like walking with roller skates on than actual skating. I think we both had fun, but we will probably wait until he is a little bit older to try that again! We have also been spending time at the swap shop (a local indoor play area) and trying to enjoy time outside as well!

Sledding on Mt. Hood

This past weekend, we had a chance to spend a night in a rental cabin up near Mt. Hood with two of Finn's friends and their families! Three toddlers in a house together makes for some crazy times! On Saturday, after a yummy breakfast, we headed up to the sledding hill for some fresh snow and some fun! Finn had a great time sledding with mom and dad, making snowballs, and knocking snow off of the trees.

With all of the rain we have had lately, Finn has made great use of his new easel. I must say, he is quite the artist!

Finn is definitely a 2-year old now (tantrums and all) and has more energy than a mom knows what to do with. He is super into throwing footballs and kicking soccer balls. Todd actually has Finn's career planned out as an NFL kicker, so maybe all of this ball madness will lead to something.
